We drove roughly 2 1/2 hours with a main purpose to go here - Paula's Pancake House.
We also waited an hour to be seated. Many may call us crazy, but our efforts were well worth it!

These pancakes are seriously the best I've ever had.
They're not just your ordinary pancake... they're Danish! =)
The main, noticeable difference with these pancakes are that they're big and flat.
AFTER
Couldn't resist!
After we ate, we walked around and saw what Solvang had to offer.
We spent around 2 hours exploring the place then decided to head home.
On the way back to the freeway we saw an Ostrich Farm and decided to stop by.
Once we arrived home, we gave Chanel her pasalubong.

i'd blog about the trip too, but i think you pretty much covered it (lol). It's kind of cool how our vacation began with Solvang and it ended in Solvang.
